Commission terms and conditions!
General rules
All artworks for personal use will have a small watermark. You are not permitted to edit/alter/remove this watermark in any way
I reserve the right to decline, stop, and/or cancel a commission request at any time.
you are not allowed to distribute/profit off the piece unless commercial rights have been purchased or otherwise discussed.
commissions include but are not limited to digital pieces, prints, or stickers. ordering custom physical products require the client to also pay for the cost of the digital art piece.
Things I Won't draw
violence/gore
sexually explicit content
copyrighted images (without explicit permission)
please note this is not an extensive list, I will still decline any commission request i do not want to accept
Payment and refund policy
all prices are expressed in US dollars (USD), however payments and processing will occur in Canadian Dollars (CAD)
the client is responsible for completing payments in an accurate and timely manner
the commission payment must be paid 50% upfront and 50% upon completion of artwork unless otherwise discussed.
the price of commissioned artwork will vary based on client request
all transactions will occur through PayPal using invoices starting February 15 2022
all payments are non-refundable unless i am unable to complete a request due to unforeseen circumstances
Commission process
all discussion and communication will occur through email or direct messaging. I may ask the client for a specific contact method if deemed necessary. please contact me at [email protected] or @sleepyredbean.
the client is required to provide the following information when requesting a commission:
multiple visual references and clear descriptions of the subjects (poses, mood, purpose, colours, elements, inspirations)
the size of the commissioned piece
any other information or requests the client deems important.
once the client agrees to the details of the commission request and accepts to the terms of service via email, I will send an invoice via PayPal.
The client must pay a non-refundable deposit upon receiving the invoice
only after the deposit has been paid will I begin the sketching process
the sketching process is the first phase of the commission process of general piece design, no colour.
i will then allow the client to review the sketch and make any desired changes wanted.
changes to the previously agreed upon subject matter and general composition is not permitted and may be subjected to other fees
during this review stage, the client will also decide colours and smaller details if they so choose.
I will send 1 progress photo once the base colors are added. If the client wishes to receive additional updates, please let me know. However, the only adjustments that can be made at this stage are colours.
Before the final high-resolution artwork is sent, the client must pay the remaining amount via invoice.
Once I receive confirmation of the payment, the final high resolution .png will be sent via email
Commission time
The commission process can take up to 31 business days starting from the first payment date, depending on the difficulty of the piecethe client can expect the sketch and review session to occur 7-10 business days after the first payment date.
Copyrights
I retain all rights to my artworks such as, but are not limited to, the right to distribute, reproduce, and use these pieces for self-promotion.

By entering a comission contract with me, the client is assumed to have read and agreed to these terms and conditions. these terms of service are subject to revision without notice
